Land Trustees

Trustee (or the holding of a trusteeship) is a legal term which, in its broadest sense, can refer to any person who holds property, authority, or a position of trust or responsibility for the benefit of another.

Fruithaven "trustees" are those who are named on the government title for the parcel of farmland our community occupies. In other words, they have purchased the property for the purposes of starting a permaculture food forest and community of raw vegans. To prevent the risk of centralization, there are 5 co-owners rather than one single landowner.
